Well exactly what I was hoping to avoid finally happened: I missed not just one but two blog days of blogging. So what I will probably do, or at least try, is write three posts tonight and adjust the date on the first two. This would be the first one. For some reason the idea of 360 posts straight just sounds appealing.
On Thursday (I’m writing this Saturday), or more specifically on Wednesday night, for whatever reason I got the bug to move out already. So I called a relative about bringing a pick up truck up to move the heavy furniture. So that is what I did for a large portion of thursday: move furniture first all the way down and into the truck then once arriving at the new place moving it in. The total time required at least for the stuff that required a pick-up was roughly 2 1/2 hours.
So it wasn’t that bad of a move. And there were only the two of us doing it too. I assume it would have been faster with more people. It was only the one trip in the pickup though.
Two pieces of furniture I we actually drove across to the hospice charity thing. Lucky for us they were interested in taking them. My desk I left in my mom’s basement in multiple pieces, I took her old desk that was in her basement.
As for everything else DSL was supposed to be turned on but I had a little trouble. I’ll save that for the next posting. Well this was a quick one wasn’t it?
